Internal auditing plays a key role in ensuring quality in operations, efficiencies, and compliance in compounding pharmacies.

This presentation will address concepts related to developing an internal audit process, conducting an audit, and using the results of the audit to improve organizational performance.

    Dr. Jon Pritchett is currently Chief Operating Officer at Revelation Pharma. Dr. Pritchett holds over 20 years' pharmacy experience, previously serving as the Pharmacy Program Director at Accreditation Commission for Health Care (ACHC) where he oversaw compounding accreditation through the Pharmacy Compounding Accreditation Board (PCAB) and compounding regulatory inspections through ACHC Inspection Services (AIS). Dr. Pritchett is a frequent speaker to professional organizations, regulatory agencies, and pharmacy students on USP compounding standards implementation and compliance and is an active member of many professional organizations including the Alliance for Pharmacy Compounding and the American Pharmacists Association.

    COMPLETION REQUIREMENTS

    1. Attend the live webinar in full (login and logout times will be recorded).
    2. Complete a learning assessment (minimum 80% passing grade, two attempts permitted) within 14 days.
    3. Submit a completed live event evaluation form online within 14 days.

    When the aforementioned steps have been completed and approved:

    • Pharmacists and Pharmacy Technicians registered in the United States will obtain a statement of completed credits on their NABP e-Profile within 60 days.
    • Pharmacists and Pharmacy Technicians registered elsewhere will receive an automated email from LP3 Network advising that they can download a statement of participation.
    • All participants will receive an automated email from LP3 Network advising that they can download the LP3 Network certificate of completion.
