This webinar gives pharmacies and small wholesalers the information they need to know to be compliant with Drug Supply Chain Security Act (DSCSA) regulations, including the impact on compounding pharmacies, information on FDA’s stabilization period, authentication of vendors, changes to bar coding (2D bar codes), and product tracing and product information.

    Josh Bolin (NABP)

    Josh Bolin serves as the Associate Executive Director for Government Affairs and Innovation for the National Association of Boards of Pharmacy (NABP). In his current capacity, he is the Association’s primary liaison with the boards of pharmacy, state government and federal government agencies and Congress and directs strategic initiatives, partnerships and innovation. Josh is currently working with NABP member boards of pharmacy on uniform processes and tools with respect to the DSCSA. 
     
    Since joining NABP in 2005, Josh has worked on development of PMP InterConnect, multiple pharmacy accreditation and inspection programs, including accreditation programs for durable medical equipment and specialty pharmacy, and inspection programs for the prescription drug supply chain, sterile and nonsterile compounding, and nuclear pharmacy. 

    Josh also worked with NABP’s member boards of pharmacy to develop standards for exchange and sharing of licensure and disciplinary data, NABP’s Universal Inspection form and Multistate Inspection Blueprint, which are all tools to assist the boards of pharmacy in sharing data and conducting inspections in a uniform manner.

    2. Complete a learning assessment (minimum 80% passing grade, two attempts permitted) within 60 days.
    3. Submit a completed live event evaluation form online within 60 days.

    When the aforementioned steps have been completed and approved:

    • Pharmacists and Pharmacy Technicians registered in the United States will obtain a statement of completed credits on their NABP e-Profile within 60 days.
    • Pharmacists and Pharmacy Technicians registered elsewhere will receive an automated email from LP3 Network advising that they can download a statement of participation.
    • All participants will receive an automated email from LP3 Network advising that they can download the LP3 Network certificate of completion.
