The Sterile Compounding: eLearning home study is available as a standalone accredited program or as part of the Sterile Compounding: Certificate Program.
If you are completing the Certificate Program, your home study can be accessed by navigating to the course page for your specific live event location & date. The version of the home study on this page is for those who are not completing the Certificate Program.
DESCRIPTION
Our NEW Sterile Compounding: eLearning Home Study enables personnel involved in sterile compounding to:
- Establish a regulatory and standards of practice framework.
- Master required core skills.
- Focus attention on Compounded Sterile Preparations.
- Build a hazardous drug communications program.
The eLearning home study will be accessible for one year and can be renewed annually to continuously help fulfill annual training*

Intended audience
- Designated Persons/Compounding Supervisors
- Personnel with oversight responsibilities
- Compounding Personnel (Pharmacists and Pharmacy Technicians)

Format
- One year of access to 57 Home Study eLearning modules (30 contact hours / 3.0 CEUs).
- Part 1: 27 modules | 14 contact hours | 1.4 CEUs must be completed prior to the hands-on lab training*.
- Part 2: 30 modules | 16 contact hours | 1.6 CEUs must be completed within 60 days of the hands-on lab training*.
- Learning assessment components after each module.
*If you are completing the Sterile Compounding: Certificate Program.

COMPLETION REQUIREMENTS
- Complete each of two home study learning assessments (parts 1 and 2) with a minimum 80% passing grade, two attempts permitted within 60 days of registration.
- Submit a completed home study evaluation form within 60 days of registration.
When the aforementioned steps have been completed and approved:
- Pharmacists and Pharmacy Technicians registered in the United States will obtain a statement of completed credits on their NABP e-Profile within 60 days.
- Pharmacists and Pharmacy Technicians registered elsewhere will receive an automated email from LP3 Network advising that they can download a statement of participation.
- All participants will receive an automated email from LP3 Network advising that they can download the LP3 Network certificate of completion.

International participants should verify with their respective governing board for accreditation equivalency.
