PATRICIA ULLMANN, B. Pharm Director of Public Affairs and Education, MEDISCA Australia. Patricia is a registered pharmacist with broad experience in community pharmacy and in compounding pharmacy since the 1990s. She was pharmacist-in-charge for 15 years at one of Australia’s first compounding pharmacies where her responsibilities included the development & implementation of policies & standard operating procedures; regulatory compliance; patient counselling; collaboration with physicians and other health care professionals. Patricia has been a member of the TGA’s Pharmacy Manufacturing Technical Working Group on compounding. She has contributed to reviews of compounding in Professional Practice Standards and in Australian Pharmaceutical Formulary and Handbook. She is the author of published articles on compounding in the Australian Journal of Pharmacy; and presenter of training webinars and podcasts in collaboration with PDL and AJP. Patricia is a member of the Academic Advisory Board of the Australasian College of Pharmacy and the current chair of the Australian Society of Compounding Pharmacists. Since 2012, Patricia has been the CPD coordinator/editor and compounding pharmacist at Medisca Australia, the Manager of Trainings and Compounding Services Manager and currently holds the role of Director Public Affairs and Education.
