Program Overview
The MAZ Certification Program provides a structured, hands-on training experience designed to equip participants with practical compounding skills that can be immediately applied in their professional practice. Through a combination of expert-led instruction and interactive lab sessions, participants will prepare eight different dosage forms, each with unique chemical compositions, delivery routes, and systems. These formulations will undergo qualitative and quantitative assessments, ensuring that participants refine their techniques and gain measurable expertise in real-world compounding scenarios.
Course Description
The MAZ Certification Program is an advanced hands-on training experience designed for compounding professionals looking to optimize the use of the Medisca MAZ® mixer and its ecosystem. This immersive in-person seminar provides expert-led instructions on essential compounding techniques, real-world prescription applications, and best practices to enhance workflow efficiency, product quality, and regulatory compliance. Through interactive lab sessions and guided exercises, participants will gain a deep understanding of key formulation processes, including tablet milling, emulsions, troche preparations, veterinary applications, and more.

This in-person certification program consists of:
- A 1-day immersive training seminar (8 hours).
- 16 core components covering essential compounding techniques and applications.

The MAZ Certification Program is a full-day hands-on training session running from 8:00am to 5:30pm. The agenda is structured to provide a seamless learning experience, ensuring participants gain practical knowledge of the MAZ ecosystem and compounding techniques.

Travel information
The training will take place at LP3 Network's state-of-the-art Learning Center.
Driving/Parking Instructions: If you are planning to drive in directly to the facility, please use the map/directions link provided above, under "Training location". Limited free parking is available at the training facility.
*Please note, in order to park at the training facility you will need to get a ticket from the machine by the parking garage gate off Biscayne Blvd entrance in the Onyx Tower (you can also press the intercom button at the parking garage gate and mention that you are attending a training with LP3 Network); easiest access to the facility (Suite 300) is through the parking garage on the 4th floor. We are located in the Red Tower. The main exit for the property will be the exit on Biscayne Blvd located in the White Tower. Please note that you will have to request a fob for the duration of your training once you get to our facility and use it to enter and exit each day. The fob must be returned at the end of the program.

Cancellation & Refund Policy
If a participant needs to cancel their registration, the following refund policy applies:
- 31+ days before the event: 75% refund
- 15-30 days before the event: 50% refund
- 14 days or less: No refund
Cancellation requests must be submitted in writing to Medisca support team. Medisca reserves the right to cancel or reschedule the program due to unforeseen circumstances. In such cases, registered participants will be offered a full refund or the option to transfer to a future session.
Transfer Policy
Participants who cannot attend their scheduled session may request a one-time transfer to another session within the same calendar year.
- Transfers must be requested at least 14 days prior to the original session date.
- Failure to attend the rescheduled event results in no refund or further transfers.
- Transfers are subject to seat availability.
Additional Policies
- Medisca is not liable for cancellations due to events beyond its control, such as natural disasters, strikes, or government regulations.
- Participants are responsible for their own travel and lodging arrangements.
- Medisca reserves the right to adjust the program content, facilitators, or schedule as necessary.
- This course is not an accredited Continuing Education (CE) program.
