Mental Health and Menopause

June 18, 2026

Overview

The risk of mental health symptoms is greatly increased in peri-/menopausal women; but how do conventional pharmacological treatments for these symptoms measure up in this patient population, and where can HRT fit in the treatment paradigm?

Join HRT expert and perimenopause specialist, Lisa Bates, PhD, as she reviews the impact of peri-/menopause on mental health and delves into therapeutic strategies for this patient population to further support treatment decisions with prescribers and patients.

You’ll leave this webinar with:

  • A deeper awareness of the association between menopausal transition and shifts in the neuroendocrine system
  • Detailed insight into common mental health presentations (e.g., anxiety, depression, brain fog) in peri-/menopause

  • Comprehensive and clinically based assessment of conventional pharmacotherapy and personalized HRT to treat mental health challenges in this patient population

  • Expert-led perspectives on prescriber/patient support to optimize tailored therapy

Walk away from this session with a clearer understanding of how to better navigate appropriate treatment decisions for menopausal mental health.
