As pet ownership has increased significantly over the past couple of decades, so has the need for compounding sterile and non-sterile preparations for animal patients.

This activity will survey the current state of veterinary compounding, from applying evidence-based medicine during formulation selection for non-human patients to reviewing the latest regulatory updates impacting veterinary pharmacy. Participants will also explore case scenarios where different treatment options for these unique patients can be applied in practice.
